Why We Donate 10% of Every Sale to Children's Education

When we started this company, we made a decision that shaped everything that came after it: 10% of every net sale would go to children's education worldwide. Not as a marketing tactic. Not as a limited-time campaign. As a permanent, foundational part of how we operate.

Here's why.

We Believe Business Should Do More

There's a version of running a business where the only goal is profit. We don't believe in that version. We believe that every transaction is an opportunity — to create something great, to treat people well, and to put resources toward things that matter.

Education is one of those things. It's the single most powerful lever for breaking cycles of poverty, expanding opportunity, and giving children the tools to build their own futures. We wanted our business to be part of that.

Why 10%?

10% is meaningful without being unsustainable. It's enough to make a real difference at scale, and it's a number we can commit to permanently — not just when times are good.

We didn't want to make a promise we couldn't keep. So we built our pricing and margins around the 10% from the start, rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Why Children's Education Specifically?

Education is upstream of almost every other social good. Healthier communities, stronger economies, reduced inequality — all of it traces back to access to quality education. And children are where that investment has the highest return.

We also believe in the long game. The children whose education we help fund today are the adults who will shape the world in 20 years. That's worth investing in.

What This Means for You

Every time you buy a bag of coffee or tea from us, 10% of that sale goes toward children's education. You don't have to do anything extra. You don't have to opt in. It happens automatically, with every order, every time.

A bag of coffee. A child's future. That's the deal.
